Have you ever heard of the raw food diet? For most of us, the idea of eating raw food may sound very strange indeed. If you think about it, though, is there any more natural way of eating? After all, every animal eats their food raw. Those of us who eat cooked food tend to have a shorter lifespan and more widespread disease. Admittedly, a raw food diet is very difficult to adhere to, especially when you eat out. Another good idea is to include raw food with every meal. This is as easy as eating some nuts, seeds or a fresh salad or fruit. By doing this, you are adding active enzymes that will help you digest the food faster.
